corporate team building

What better way for colleagues to bond and develop problem solving strategies than to build their own fire, forage and cook food together, even build their own willow shelter to sleep in ?

This is what our bush craft ‘corporate team building sessions offer, the opportunity to step outside your creature comforts ( and the office) to develop skills for self- sufficiency and environmental awareness.

An example of team building day sessions at our woodland at Lumbutts.

10-10:30am – Arrive at Incredible Healey Clough at Lumbutts, (10 minute drive from the farm). Welcome and introductions

10:30-11:30am – Activity 1 Wild forage and animal tracking

12pm- Team Lunch – Made and eaten together

1pm-2:30 Activity 2– Building water wheel/ build cold storage cave

2:30pm –Tea and fire building techniques.

3.30pm Recap of day and depart Healey Clough

Other bush craft and activities are available, as in an overnight residential stay at Healey Clough in summer tome. Overnight stays involve building shelter and camping in the woodlands.

For a slightly less hard core day down at the farm, we offer the site as a ‘muddy conference centre’.

We have dedicated indoor and outdoor spaces to hire for team meetings. Hire includes a farm tour and lunch based around farm produce and optional workshops and activities.

What’s more not only does your company get to experience and learn about the local environment and ecological farming, but you will also be supporting our opportunities to continue working with local youth groups in Todmorden, Oldham and Rochdale. Work which in the past has been reliant on grant funding.
